Nebula Taiji in Versilia

Myself As a small child, I felt very in touch with a deeper reality and as a young woman I searched and searched to refind that which I had felt, I took courses and studied, and travelled everywhere but nothing ever really convinced me that it was the direction I should follow . I was completely taken by sufism but I needed something which would make the reality of being in a body substantial. Sufism made my heart open and fly but it did not give me any ground to stand on. I began taiji in the Tung school over 21 years ago. I went to Malaysia several times and studied with 5 ot 6 teachers. All were Yang style, except 3 very disciplined months doing Chen style. As strange as things can be, I was told to go and find Patrick Kelly by a woman in a field in India. I wrote and asked him if I could come to a seminar. He said I wasn’t prepared. I told him I taught taiji and he said I wasn’t prepared . I asked him to give me a chance, I could do the long form backwards. Finally, he said yes. From the very day I met Patrick Kelly, I realized I didn’t know taiji and I knew I was in touch with a true teacher who had refined a method and wanted to transmit it as well as it was transmitted to him by Master Huang of Malaysia. My only hope is that I can transmit this method with some integrity. Taiji to me is an ancient and subtle art that if done as it was correctly transmitted will bring you to a deeper reality. I have been with Patrick Kelly for 12 to 13 years (now 2012) and continue to study with him as much as I can. Sylvia Tambellini

Cenni sulla sottoscritta Sin da piccola sentivo di essere in contatto con una realtà più profonda e da giovanissima ho cercato assiduamente di trovare ciò che avevo sentito. Ho fatto corsi, studiato, ho viaggiato molto, ma niente mi faceva pensare che quella fosse la direzione che avrei dovuto intraprendere. Sono stata molto presa dal sufismo, ma avevo bisogno di qualcosa che considerasse il fatto di essere in un corpo materiale. Il sufi mi ha aperto e fatto volare il cuore, ma non mi ha dato una base su cui poggiarmi. Ho iniziato taiji 21 anni fa nella scuola di Tung. Mi recai diverse volte in Malesia e studiai con 5 o 6 maestri. Tutti avevano uno stile Yang, riuscì tuttavia a fare una disciplina molto intensiva stile Chen per 3 mesi. A volte possono succedere cose strane: mi trovavo in India quando in un campo incontrai una donna che mi disse di andare e di cercare Patrick Kelly. Così scrissi a Patrick chiedendo di poter partecipare ad un suo seminario. Mi rispose dicendomi che non ero preparata. Allora lo ricontattai dicendogli che insegnavo taiji e replicò ancora che non ero preparata. Infine facendo presente che potevo fare la forma lunga al contrario, gli chiesi di darmi un’opportunità. Fortunatamente disse di sì. Mi resi conto, sin dal primo giorno che lo incontrai, che non conoscevo il taiji, ma sapevo di essere in contatto con un vero maestro, che aveva affinato un metodo per trasmetterlo come gli era stato insegnato da Master Huang della Malesia. E’ mio desiderio poter trasmettere questo metodo con trasparenza. Per me il taiji é un’arte antica e sottile che se eseguita correttamente, come trasmessa, conduce ad una realtà più prodonda. Sono con Patrick Kelly da 12 o 13 anni (adesso siamo nel 2012) e continuo a studiare con lui il più possibile. Sylvia Tambellini
